"Learn to speak with the Bonse technique!"
Profesora Pamela Ann Bonse has a Master's Degree in Spanish from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Spanish and French from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has traveled extensively in Mexico and lived there for a season. She has also spent time in France and French Canada. For over 20 years she enjoyed operating a highly successful foreign language school in South Texas, teaching students ranging from 4 to 85 years old. She taught in her classroom and in a variety of businesses and private schools.
In August of 2007 she relocated to Apex, NC and accepted a full-time Spanish instructor's position at Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh. In August of 2013 she opened the Bonse School of Language in Apex.
Pamela Bonse is a passionate teacher who knows how to motivate students and bring a creative spontaneity and excitement into the classroom. The teaching style, which she has honed over the years, employs a dynamic, interactive, oral skills-development technique. Her unique method has proven to be successful with many individuals where other methods have failed. While in class, emphasis is placed on developing the student’s speaking and listening skills, but reading and writing are also an important part of the course. La Profesora is an expert grammarian who is proficient at teaching grammar while not allowing it to detract from the wonderful adventure of becoming bilingual. She is also adept at working in a class where the skill level varies and knows how to challenge the brightest students while meeting the needs of the more basic students. She is an optimistic teacher with incredible patience and determination who desires that each of her students become fluent in their target language.
